Senior Business Analyst – SAP, Data & Customer Integration

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Business Analyst for an assignment within a large organization operating in a regulated distribution environment. The organization is embarking on a major transformation programme that is currently in the design phase. The programme includes an SAP migration as well as the development of a new cloud-based data foundation using Azure and Databricks. An important part of the future solution will be to establish structured and reliable data sharing with external customers. This is a business-focused analyst role positioned between business, processes and data. Rather than focusing primarily on traditional requirements documentation, the role requires strong communication skills, process understanding and the ability to translate customer needs into clear and actionable data requirements. The Role You will work directly with external customers to understand their data needs and identify a common minimum data set that can serve as the basis for the engineering team's development. You will collaborate closely with engineering, contribute to the ongoing SAP transformation and support the testing and validation of delivered solutions. The relevant data domains include sales data, inventory levels, out-of-stock information, data related to controlled products, and invoice data used by financial systems. As incorrect data may have both commercial and compliance implications, a high level of accuracy, quality and traceability is essential. Qualifications Proven experience working directly with external customers and managing customer-facing dialogue. Experience negotiating with external stakeholders and creating alignment between different requirements, priorities and expectations. Experience with SAP and a good understanding of the business processes supported by the platform. Experience in data modelling. Understanding of distribution and logistics processes. Ability to operate effectively between business processes and technology and translate requirements and needs in both directions. Fluency in English. Meritorious Swedish language skills. Experience from pharmaceutical distribution, life sciences or another regulated industry. Previous involvement in SAP migrations or other large-scale transformation programmes. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure and/or Databricks. Experience enabling or managing data sharing with external parties. You have a commercial mindset and are comfortable leading business-oriented discussions, not only traditional requirements conversations. You are confident in independently managing customer dialogues and moving discussions forward without extensive direction. At the same time, you have a structured approach and the ability to consolidate information from multiple parallel conversations into clear conclusions, priorities and actionable input for the delivery teams.
