Senior Business Developer – Strategy & Finance (R&D Environment) About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Developer to support a newly established Business Development & Strategy function within a global R&D organization. This is a strategic assignment where you will contribute to the development of business strategy, financial governance, and cross-functional initiatives in a complex international environment. You will work closely with senior management and stakeholders across R&D, Finance, Strategy, and Commercial functions, helping shape future ways of working while driving business development and strategic finance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of the organization's functional strategy. Drive strategic finance initiatives within a large R&D environment. Support strategic portfolio and PMO-related activities. Manage and further develop governance processes and management systems. Support annual financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up. Drive prioritization together with commercial and business stakeholders. Monitor and follow up on strategic initiatives and business priorities. Establish and strengthen collaboration between R&D, Finance, and other cross-functional organizations. Collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business. Contribute with Data & AI-related capabilities where applicable. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, or a related field. Approximately 5 years of experience in leadership, project management, finance, business development, or similar strategic roles within an R&D or complex corporate environment. Proven experience driving strategic initiatives across multiple business functions. Strong experience managing stakeholders in large, matrix organizations. Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Meritorious Experience Experience from strategic finance or business development. Experience supporting organizational development or functional strategy. Previous experience within product development or R&D organizations. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
