Senior Construction Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Life Sciences

responsibilities: Work independently while being part of the larger team focused on providing quality services while maximizing the client’s investment Market sector experience: Although all markets can become part of the scope of work for this position, a focus for this position is the Life Sciences market and experience with pharmaceutical companies is a plus Software specific requirements: Expertise with the Microsoft suite of products is required Experience with estimating software and Project Management Information Systems is desired   Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry. Bilingual in English and Spanish required  Professional accredited or working towards it is preferred. Experience of leading cost management on medium or large sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.  Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred. Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering. Excellent communication skills.
