Senior Consultant – Financial Reporting & Close Automation (Workiva)

<p><span>Next Level Finance is a fast-growing finance transformation specialist. We are looking for a Senior Consultant to lead engagements that help large organisations automate and optimise their financial and statutory reporting, addressing what is often called the 'last mile of finance'. You will be a key driver of our Workiva partnership, working directly with clients to streamline the delivery of annual reports, interim reports, and sustainability disclosures.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>What You Will Do</strong></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Lead client engagements focused on automating financial and statutory reporting processes using Workiva and similar platforms</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Help clients optimise their end-to-end report delivery, from ERP close through to annual, interim, and sustainability reports</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Analyse and improve ways of working around data sourcing, data quality, and cross-functional collaboration in the reporting process</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Support clients with GRC topics including internal controls, risk management, and compliance within the finance function</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Work alongside auditors and finance teams to ensure regulatory and market requirements are met</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Facilitate workshops and communicate insights to senior finance stakeholders</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Contribute to the development of Next Level Finance’s Workiva partnership and service offering</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Mentor junior consultants and support team development</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• 3–12 years of experience in finance transformation, financial reporting, controllership, or a related consulting role</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Hands-on experience with Workiva or similar financial reporting and disclosure management platforms</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Strong understanding of statutory reporting, consolidation close cycles, and annual/interim/sustainability reporting</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Familiarity with ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and how data flows into the reporting layer</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Experience in GRC, internal controls, or sustainability reporting is a strong advantage</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to CFOs and finance directors</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Fluent in Swedish and English</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Based in Stockholm (hybrid working model)</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Degree in economics, accounting, finance, or a related field</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>What We Offer</strong></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• A senior role within a fast-growing, ambitious consultancy with real influence on strategy</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• A flat, collaborative culture built on trust, learning, and psychological safety</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Active involvement in building out the Workiva service line and partnership</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Exposure to complex, high-impact finance transformation engagements across industries</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>• Access to the broader Newground Alliance ecosystem,14 specialist consultancies, ~280 consultants</span></p>
