Senior Data & Analytics Engineer

For our client, we're looking for a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer, Data Platform & Architecture • Design and develop scalable data and analytics solutions using Databricks. Implement and maintain modern lakehouse architectures supporting analytics and data-driven use cases. • Define data engineering best practices, standards, and governance. • Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business requirements into technical solutions. Data Engineering & Analytics • Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark. • Develop and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and advanced insights. • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and processing challenges. Automotive Data Solutions • Work with large-scale automotive data sets such as diagnostics, telemetry, sensor, and connected vehicle data. • Design data models handling complex relationships between multiple data domains and formats. • Support engineering and analytics teams with reliable and accessible data dashboards and products. DataOps & Cloud • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for data solutions. • Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams to improve operational efficiency. • Implement monitoring, logging, and security best practices for data platforms. Competence requirements • Extensive experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role. • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python. • Experience designing and implementing modern data lakehouse architectures. • Experience building batch and real-time data pipelines. • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and analytics platforms. • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS • Experience from the automotive industry, preferably working with diagnostics, telemetry, connected vehicle, or other complex engineering data. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
