Senior Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Architect to support the Data Analytics domain. The assignment focuses on establishing and maturing architecture, information models, data models, integration patterns, and governance processes that support business requirements and long-term strategic objectives. The architect will play a key role in defining target architectures, documenting future-state solutions, and ensuring alignment between data, integration, and business needs. The role combines architecture leadership, hands-on design work, advisory responsibilities, and capability development. A key objective is to strengthen internal architectural capabilities through structured mentorship and coaching of designated team members, enabling sustainable knowledge transfer and long-term organizational growth. The architect will work closely with managers, project leads, product owners, domain stakeholders, and other relevant teams to provide architectural guidance and support decision-making within the Data Analytics domain. Key Responsibilities Establish and develop architecture, information patterns, and integration patterns within the Data Analytics domain. Design data structures, governance processes, information models, and data models aligned with business requirements. Design and define integration structures and architectural principles. Create, update, and maintain architectural documentation, target states, and integration flows according to client standards. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the overall system landscape architecture. Provide strategic architecture and technical guidance to managers, project leads, product owners, and domain stakeholders. Support architectural governance and promote alignment with established standards and principles. Mentor and coach designated internal team members to strengthen internal architectural capabilities. Provide hands-on guidance and knowledge transfer to support the development of independent architects. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support architectural decision-making and long-term development within the domain. Education & Technical Skills Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience. Strong knowledge of information modelling and data modelling. Strong understanding of integration architecture and integration design. Experience documenting architecture, target states, and system landscapes. Good understanding of governance processes and architectural principles. Ability to communicate and document complex architectural concepts in a structured manner. Experience & Skills Extensive experience working as a Senior IT Architect. Experience within Data Analytics architecture. Experience designing information models, data models, and integration architectures. Experience establishing or supporting governance frameworks and architectural standards. Experience creating and maintaining architectural documentation and target-state designs. Experience providing architecture advisory services to senior stakeholders. Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing internal team members. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work across both strategic and operational levels. Meriting Experience Experience within large-scale Data & Analytics environments. Experience with AI agents and agentic systems. Experience in enterprise-scale architecture environments.
