Senior Data Scientist – Optimization & MLOps

We value specialists with broad technical curiosity—the kind of person who can understand a complex business problem, explore the data, develop the solution, deploy it, and clearly explain the outcome.</span></p><h2><span>What you will do</span></h2><p><span>Depending on the assignment, you will:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Develop, maintain, and improve advanced data science and optimization solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build and enhance discrete optimization models, including Integer and Mixed Integer Programming models.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Productionize, deploy, monitor, and maintain AI and machine learning solutions in cloud environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify weaknesses in existing models and proactively implement improvements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build robust data preparation, aggregation, and feature engineering pipelines.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Write clean, modular, tested, and maintainable Python code.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement MLOps and CI/CD practices for model deployment and lifecycle management.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conduct exploratory and ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Present model outputs and analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Translate business requirements and stakeholder feedback into scalable technical solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders.</span></p></li></ul><h2><span>Who are you?</span></h2><p><span>We believe you have:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Several years of professional experience within data science, machine learning, optimization, or a related field.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong knowledge of discrete optimization, such as Integer Programming or Mixed Integer Programming.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience taking models beyond notebooks and operating them in a production environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong Python skills and experience building modular, production-ready software.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong SQL skills for data analysis, transformation, and data pipeline development.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Hands-on experience with MLOps, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and model monitoring.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with cloud-based data and machine learning platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.</span></p></li><li><p><span>A solid understanding of software architecture and maintainable codebases.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience building data wrangling and aggregation pipelines from diverse data sources.</span></p></li><li><p><span>The ability to understand business problems and turn them into analytical or technical solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong communication skills and confidence presenting complex findings in a clear and actionable way.</span></p></li><li><p><span>A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to take ownership in complex and sometimes ambiguous environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working in Agile and cross-functional teams.</span></p></li></ul><h2><span>Nice to have</span></h2><p><span>It is an advantage if you have experience with:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Optimization frameworks or solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools, or Pyomo.</span></p></li><li><p><span>GCP services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, or Cloud Composer.</span></p></li><li><p><span>dbt or similar data transformation frameworks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Containerization and orchestrati
