Senior Design Engineer

For our client Husqvarna we are looking for a Senior Design Engineer. Tasks Senior design engineer or mechanical lead for product development projects and special assignments. You will drive concept development and secure that the technical development is done in a structured way. Assignments will be within both advanced engineering as well as product development going for industrialization. You will collaborate closely with the Light Compaction engineering team in Bulgaria as well as with other parts of our global organization Advanced CAD and drawing creation in Catia V5. Required skills MSc, BSc in engineering More than 5 years of relevant experience incl minimum 4 years experience from Catia V5. Senior experience from machine engineering including e.g. rotating parts and mechatronics. Senior experience from concept design. Experienced in leading teams to deliver an agreed content timely. You are trained in structured engineering processes such as concept development, iterative design, platform and module engineering, 6sigma, value engineering, etc. Experience from lean and agile product development. Experience from injection moulded parts and other form-bound parts. About you You are a true global collaborator and enjoy coaching fellow engineers with your senior engineering competence. Able to quickly build up a personal network of sustainable relations within and outside the organization. Objective focused with a positive driving and collaborative attitude Value the team’s success higher than your own. Creative, innovative and visionary with good analytical skills and the ability to structure the work Enjoys being hands-on in our engineering workshops when assembling and testing your products Location: Jonsered Payment terms: 60 + 3-5 banking days Seniority : Level 3 or 4 For this client sub-contracting is not preferred.
