We are lookin for a Senior DevOps Developer for our client WirelessCar. Senior DevOps Developer Do you enjoy building software, working with cloud technologies and making sure services run reliably in production? We are looking for a DevOps developer with a strong interest in operations to join our team working with connected vehicle services. This is a hands-on role where you will combine software development with cloud operations, automation, and production support. You will be part of a high performing team responsible for developing, deploying, and operating cloud-based services used by a global automotive customer. You will work across the full lifecycle of the solution – from development and deployment to monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. What you will do: Develop and maintain backend services and supporting components in a cloud-native environment. Take an active role in operating services in production and ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and take part in incident investigation and resolution. Improve observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting. Automate operational tasks and improve deployment and operational processes. Contribute to root cause analysis and implement actions that prevent recurring incidents. Collaborate closely with developers, architects, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to continuously improve the service. Take ownership of problems end-to-end and help drive them to resolution. We are looking for: We are looking for a strong software developer who also enjoys getting close to the operation of the system. You don't need to be a pure operations specialist, but you should be comfortable taking responsibility and drive improvements in production. You are higly skilled in: Software development, java (springboot) and python AWS cloud platform. DevOps practices and CI/CD. Containers and cloud-native technologies. Monitoring, logging and observability. Troubleshooting distributed systems and production issues. Automation and scripting. Git and modern software development practices. Who you are You are curious, pragmatic, and comfortable working across development and operations. You like understanding how things work in production, and fixing things proactively with “upstream” focus. You take ownership, communicate clearly when something goes wrong and enjoy solving problems together with others. You are also comfortable working with processes for operations and together with others, making sure that the way of working fits the customer as well as our internal way of working for harmonization within our organization. We value people who are willing to learn, challenge existing ways of working and improve the service continuously. About the assignment This is a consultant assignment within WirelessCar in Sweden. You will work closely with experienced engineers and other technical roles in an international environment. The role is based in Gothenburg, with a hybrid way of working, with at least 2 days in office/week. We offer continuously. That means that we sometimes remove the assignments before deadline.
