Trility Consulting is seeking a Senior DevSecOps/Cloud Governance Consultant to lead an eight-week engagement focused on establishing practical cloud governance, financial management, and policy standards within a large-scale Azure environment. This is a hands-on consulting engagement. You'll work directly with the client's cloud infrastructure and IT finance teams to design and implement governance controls that improve cost visibility, resource accountability, policy compliance, and long-term cloud management. You'll be responsible for turning strategy into working solutions—designing Azure management group structures, developing Azure Policy definitions and initiatives, establishing tagging standards, implementing governance as code with Terraform and GitHub Actions, and identifying actionable opportunities to improve cloud efficiency and financial accountability. This role requires someone who can comfortably move between technical implementation and executive-level conversations. You'll facilitate discussions with infrastructure, finance, architecture, and data stakeholders; make practical recommendations; document decisions; and coach the client's cloud administrators throughout the engagement. Trility follows a Coach-and-Contribute model. You'll build alongside the client's team rather than simply delivering recommendations and walking away. The goal is to leave the client with working solutions, clear documentation, reusable patterns, and the knowledge required to independently operate and extend the environment. This engagement is expected to last approximately eight weeks, with the potential for follow-on work as the client continues its cloud governance and FinOps transformation. This is a remote 1099 consulting engagement.
