As our merchant-base, product portfolio, and global headcount continue to grow, we are currently looking for a leader for our Americas Regional Marketing; to oversee and scale marketing in the United States. This high-impact role will drive regional performance by aligning closely with local commercial leadership teams, whilst collaborating with global functional peers to adapt and optimise key programs across ABM, PR, and Field Marketing/Events for the US market. The incoming leader will manage a growing team as well as optimising ROI on a c. $2 million budget for 2026. This budget will be directly managed in-market, and through incredible tight coordination with global marketing leaders, and further budgets covering Performance and Brand Marketing should can be optimised. This person will dual-report to the Head of North America Revenue leader and Global CMO, working closely with the broader Marketing team, and local Commercial leaders; to shape and execute our go-to-market strategy focused on priority prospects, in-pipe opportunities and cross-sell / upsell of the back book. Role overview | Remit and Responsibilities Amongst other duties, the incoming Americas Marketing leader will demonstrate: - Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with The Marketing Leadership Team and the Head of North America Commercial, to define and deliver integrated go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals for frontbook and back book execution. - Executive Collaboration: Act as a trusted partner for our Head of North America Commercial, the CMO and other executive stakeholders, to develop and execute regional marketing strategies that drive impactful outcomes and contribute to business objectives. You will drive tight alignment with regional growth strategies and our global marketing plan. - Marketing Strategy Development: Lead the development of innovative marketing strategies across all the Americas region exploring new approaches and championing experimentation to maintain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving market landscape. With a focus on ABM, Field Marketing, Events and PR you’ll be fully versed in all aspect of integrated campaign marketing. - Regional Marketing Leadership: Work across Commercial, Partnerships, Revenue Operations and Marketing Leaders to create cohesive and impactful regional plans. You will be responsible for designing and executing the marketing strategy and plan in the region and will need to influence other marketing leaders to deliver what’s needed to support the execution of the plan. This role will be high on influence and collaboration, optimising global spend for quality investment and planning in the market. Your success will be dependent on the ability to forge close working relationships with the Marketing Leadership Team (of which you will be a key member). - Team Leadership: Manage and grow a team of marketers with varying areas of expertise. Foster a high-performance environment built on trust, ownership, and continuous development. Be the Checkout brand ambassador for the region, working with our partners across the organisation to build and grow the culture in the Americas market. - Budget Management: Allocate resources strategically to maximize ROI and support the region’s commercial priorities. You’ll be accountable for delivering high impact programs that accelerate commercial results. - Market Alignment: Stay abreast of market dynamics and industry trends, ensuring marketing efforts align with both global strategies and local preferences to drive effective engagement with enterprise customers - Measurement and Optimization: Measure performance, and use insights to adjust strategy and improve outcomes for our Enterprise Marketing. Communicate results to stakeholders across the business Role overview | Desired Background, Core Competencies The ideal candidate for the role will bring: - Experience: Over a decade in strategic B2B marketing, with a focus on ABM enterprise marketing and events management. Extensive experience in payments, fintech, or complex enterprise software sectors is highly desirable - Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills across all levels, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence buy-in from senior stakeholders - Leadership Skills: Track record of exceptional leadership and team management, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team of marketing professionals and cross-functional partners to achieve ambitious goals and drive impactful outcomes. Adept at steering complex projects, setting clear priorities, delegating effectively, and maintaining a keen eye on budgets - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Incredible cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and drive alignment and execution of marketing initiatives across departments.
