Senior Finance Controller - Stockholm

Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Controller / Senior Accountant for a full-time consulting assignment with a leading company in the green steel industry. This is a broad and hands-on finance role combining advanced accounting, financial controlling, process improvement and ERP implementation. You will work in a dynamic industrial environment undergoing significant development and change. Main responsibilities Take responsibility for daily accounting activities and month-end closing Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage intercompany transactions Prepare and handle VAT reporting Manage CAPEX, fixed assets and related accounting classifications Participate in ERP implementation activities; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desirable Establish, improve and document financial processes and internal controls Assist with audits and statutory reporting Work closely with stakeholders across different functions within the organisation Your background Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within accounting, financial controlling or a similar finance position Solid knowledge of Swedish GAAP/K3 Extensive hands-on experience with reconciliations, intercompany accounting, VAT, CAPEX and fixed assets Previous experience working in an industrial environment, ideally within production, inventory or logistics Experience participating in ERP implementation projects is considered an advantage Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desirable Excellent written and spoken English Who we are looking for We are looking for a structured and proactive consultant with a solution-oriented mindset.
