About the Role You will join a team building a digital hub that brings store planning into one connected experience for coworkers across a global retail environment. The hub is designed to be the starting point for planning physical customer meeting points, combining inspiration, planning data, commercial insights and interactive 3D layouts in one place. This is a role for you if you enjoy working across the full stack and taking ownership of complete product slices. The work spans user-facing experiences, integrations, APIs and data flows, with a clear goal: turn information from multiple systems into a coherent and useful planning journey. What makes the role especially interesting is the chance to shape an end-to-end product that is central to how store planning evolves at scale. Job Description You will deliver production-ready capabilities as full vertical slices, from API or integration layer to user-facing UI. You will connect planning tools, headless CMS content, and performance and commercial insight data into one seamless experience. You will build React and TypeScript interfaces that are intuitive, accessible and aligned with a component-driven design system. You will develop and maintain Node.js and TypeScript backend-for-frontend services, including REST and OpenAPI-based integrations. You will collaborate closely with product, UX and technical specialists to turn user needs into practical solutions. You will help ensure the hub stays a clear entry point for planning rather than becoming another disconnected tool. You will contribute to secure, scalable engineering practices in cloud-hosted and containerised environments. Requirements Recent, demonstrable delivery across both frontend and backend in the same role. Strong full-stack capability, with hands-on experience building React and TypeScript UI as well as Node.js and TypeScript services. Solid understanding of the web landscape, including consuming and producing REST and OpenAPI services. Experience with component-driven UI and design systems. Experience with CSS, Styled Components and state management. Ability to work with Figma and translate UX needs into well-structured interfaces. Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG. Experience with REST API design and documentation using OpenAPI or Swagger. Experience with headless CMS solutions. Knowledge of database technologies and SQL. Understanding of schema validation, information flow between systems and clean integration design. Experience with cloud-hosted applications and containerised environments. Understanding of authentication, authorisation and secure application design. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and modern engineering practices. You work well with product and UX and adapt solutions to real end-user needs. Nice to have Experience with 3D visualisation technologies such as Three.js, React Three Fiber or Autodesk APS. Experience with dynamic page rendering in headless CMS environments. Experience working with AI-assisted solutions and integrations. Familiarity with event-driven architecture and observability tooling. Experience from retail planning or commercial planning environments.
