Senior Hardware Engineer

Qualifications: BS or Masters in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline 7+ years of experience designing embedded hardware systems, using EDA/PCB design software (Altium or Allegro/Cadence ) Schematic Capture, Layout / Routing and DFM/DFA Experience with Bus communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, RS232/RS485, PCIe, 10/100/1000 Ethernet , CAN) Experience with Microcontrollers, preferably STM, TI, Freescale, NXP, and relevant software stacks Use of relevant tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers Testing and Debugging, creating test protocols, reports and SOPs Preferred Qualifications: Designing software architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance Wireless technologies (NFC, Bluetooth, BLE, BLE Mesh, ZigBee ) Hardware (PCB, JTAG, UART, SPI, ROM, microcode, custom ASIC/FPGA) x86 and/or ARM chipset and firmware security (TPM, UEFI, TrustZone, secure boot) Experience with mechanical fixtures and automation PLM tools experience ( Arena or Agile ) Collaboration Tools experience (JIRA/Confluence) U.S. benefits designed for your overall well-being: Health coverage. This role has the annual salary range as defined below for a salary pay range for a candidate located in the San Francisco Bay Area. For roles that are filled in other locations, the compensation range will be based on data provided by the Radford McLagan Compensation Database from Aon. Final compensation is also based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
