Senior IAM Architect

About the Role You will take a key architecture role in a large IAM transformation where the goal is to create clear direction across identity, authorization and access governance. In this assignment, you help define the target state, resolve important architecture questions and create standards, patterns and roadmaps that delivery teams can use in practice. The scope covers workforce, partner and external identities in a hybrid environment built around Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory. You will work closely with stakeholders across enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud platform, data and engineering, with a clear focus on architecture direction rather than operational ownership. This is an interesting role for you if you enjoy combining strategic influence with practical guidance in a complex security-focused environment. Job Description You assess the current IAM landscape and identify material risks, dependencies and prioritized gaps. You define an enterprise IAM target architecture, supporting principles, reference patterns and a transition roadmap. You lead authorization architecture for a major transformation program, covering roles, permissions, service identities and API access. You shape direction for identity lifecycle management, access governance and privileged access. You create reusable criteria and architecture patterns that support consistent application and platform onboarding. You prepare architecture decisions and recommendations for governance forums. You collaborate with stakeholders across architecture, security, platform and engineering to create clear ownership boundaries and practical implementation guidance. Requirements Senior experience in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity or IAM, including substantial focus on IAM architecture. Demonstrated delivery in large-scale IAM, cloud or security transformations. Deep experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and hybrid identity. Practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, ABAC, PAM, PIM, PKI, API security and secrets management. Experience with identity governance, access lifecycle automation, privileged access and non-human identities. Ability to convert strategic direction into clear decisions, standards, roadmaps and implementable reference patterns. Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication across business, security, architecture, platform and engineering teams. Fluent in Swedish and English. Understanding of Zero Trust, secure-by-design, auditability, resilience and applicable NIS2 requirements.
