In this role, you will help maintain visibility and ownership of internet-facing assets, ensuring accurate asset management, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration between technology and security teams. Role Overview As an Senior IT Analyst Audit & Compliance, you will support the management of the organization's Internet Footprint Repository, which serves as a critical source of information for identifying and managing internet-exposed assets. Working closely with Application Teams, Infrastructure Teams, and Cyber Security stakeholders, you will ensure asset ownership is clearly defined, accurately documented, and maintained in line with governance and compliance requirements. You will contribute to improving the organization's ability to respond quickly to security risks by ensuring critical assets are properly registered, owned, and traceable across the technology landscape. Project Context You will be part of a high-impact initiative designed to improve the connection between internet-exposed assets and their accountable owners. By enhancing asset visibility and ownership transparency, the organization can respond more effectively to vulnerabilities, reduce unnecessary exposure, and strengthen its overall security posture. This role sits at the crossroads of IT Governance, Asset Management, Compliance, and Cyber Security, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy working with both technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance the Internet Footprint Repository and related asset management processes. Ensure accurate, complete, and timely registration of internet-facing assets within the CMDB. Collaborate with Application, DNS, Network, and Infrastructure teams to establish and validate asset ownership. Support compliance, governance, and audit requirements related to asset and configuration management. Work closely with Cyber Security teams to improve visibility of critical assets and support vulnerability remediation efforts. Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and drive corrective actions. Manage communication channels, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across various technology functions. Contribute to process improvements that strengthen governance, operational efficiency, and risk management capabilities. Must-Have Skills & Experience 3–5+ years of experience in Asset & Configuration Management (CMDB) and/or Cyber Security environments. Experience working with CMDB platforms such as Helix CMDB, ServiceNow, or similar asset management tools. Understanding of asset lifecycle management and configuration management practices. Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including: - Vulnerability Management - Security Scanning - Web and Application Security Working knowledge of internet infrastructure, including: -DNS -Certificate Management / PKI - Load Balancing - CDN technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience collaborating with multiple technical and business stakeholders. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Helix CMDB. Knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Understanding of network security concepts. Experience in IT Governance, Risk Management, or Compliance functions. Familiarity with security controls, risk assessments, and audit processes. Experience managing shared mailboxes, communication channels, and data repositories. Personal Competencies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences. Strong attention to detail and data quality. Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach. Ability to drive ownership and accountability across teams in a complex enterprise environment.
