This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional with a strong background in IT sourcing, supplier management, and strategic procurement who enjoys driving business improvements and working closely with both internal stakeholders and global suppliers.</p><h2>About the Role</h2><p>As a Senior IT Buyer / Procurement & Vendor Manager, you will lead sourcing initiatives from strategy through execution while building strong supplier relationships and supporting procurement transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive category strategies, and contribute to procurement excellence across the organisation.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Lead, prepare, and execute sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier negotiations, escalations, and supplier relationship management.</p></li><li><p>Drive sourcing strategy, category management initiatives, and procurement process improvements.</p></li><li><p>Support business development by driving sourcing-related change management initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Participate in internal forums and represent procurement in sourcing-related discussions, projects, and initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Support category managers in executing sourcing strategies and category plans.</p></li><li><p>Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier performance improvements.</p></li><li><p>Monitor supplier performance and compliance as part of the Supplier Risk Management programme.</p></li><li><p>Manage key supplier relationships and act as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors.</p></li><li><p>Report sourcing results, savings, and procurement performance.</p></li></ul><h2>We're Looking For Someone Who Has</h2><ul><li><p>At least <strong>5 years of experience</strong> in procurement, preferably within IT sourcing.</p></li><li><p>A strong background in IT sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and vendor management.</p></li><li><p>Experience with category management and procurement strategy.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with change management initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, ideally in international or cross-border environments.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge; Power BI experience is an advantage.</p></li><li><p>A university degree in Engineering, IT, Economics, Law, or another relevant field, combined with a strong business mindset and technical interest.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.</p></li><li><p>A strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>A proactive, results-oriented approach with strong prioritisation skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience working within a global matrix organisation is highly desirable.</p></li></ul><h2>Assignment Details</h2><ul><li><p><strong>Location:</strong> Stockholm</p></li><li><p><strong>Start:</strong> Flexible, with an expected start around September or October.</p></li><li><p><strong>Duration:</strong> Approximately 6 months</p></li><li><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time consultant assignment (100%)</p></li></ul><p>If you're an experienced procurement professional with a passion for IT sourcing, supplier management, and driving strategic procurement initiatives, we'd love to hear from you.
