Senior Kubernetes Engineer

About the Role You will help shape and run a Kubernetes platform that supports scalable cloud-native applications and business-critical on-premises systems in an industrial production environment. The work spans platform design, upgrades, security, automation, observability, and troubleshooting, with a strong focus on stable and secure operations. This role is a strong match if you enjoy deep platform engineering, modern GitOps practices, and solving complex infrastructure challenges where your work has a clear operational impact. Job Description You will design, provision, upgrade, and scale Kubernetes clusters across on-premises environments. You will configure and improve security controls such as RBAC, network policies, and admission controllers. You will optimize cluster performance through CPU and memory tuning, CSI-based storage, and CNI networking. You will build and maintain automated deployment and GitOps pipelines using Helm, Argo CD, and Flux. You will implement and support monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing to strengthen reliability and observability. You will work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to improve platform stability, scalability, and security. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex Kubernetes and infrastructure-related issues. You will also take part in planned maintenance activities, including some work outside normal office hours when needed to reduce impact on production. Requirements Strong experience with Kubernetes architecture. Hands-on experience with Docker and Linux administration. Solid knowledge of Helm Charts and Argo CD. Proficiency in Go, Python or Bash. Good understanding of network topologies, network security, and firewalls. You communicate fluently in English and Swedish. Nice to have Experience with Terraform or Ansible. Experience with Azure DevOps. Experience with Windows Server.
