In this role, you will act as a key technical contributor throughout the product lifecycle, influencing design decisions, manufacturing solutions, and future product development. Working in a cross-functional and agile environment, you will drive complex development activities, mentor colleagues, and play an important role in shaping the next generation of Aimpoint products.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Join a growing organization where technical excellence, innovation, and long-term product ownership are highly valued.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>As a Senior Mechanical Engineer - you will:</span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Lead and drive mechanical development activities from concept generation through industrialization and product lifecycle management.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Work in a cross-functional team including product owners, scrum masters, mechanical engineers, electronics and software developers, production engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Take responsibility for test strategies, design decisions, manufacturing documentation, and documentation in accordance with applicable requirements and standards.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Initiate and implement improvements to manufacturing methods and introduce them into production.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Collaborate closely with suppliers in technical discussions.</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Key responsibilities:</span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Act as the technical owner of mechanical design solutions and provide guidance on critical design decisions throughout development projects.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Concept development, detailed design, and verification.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Prototype development and testing.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Product maintenance and troubleshooting for existing products.</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>We are seeking someone with:</span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>A Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>10+ years of experience in mechanical product development, including ownership of complex technical solutions from concept through production.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Extensive experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks).</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Knowledge of surface treatment methods and applications is considered an advantage.</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Preferred skills and experiences:</span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Design for volume manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) and GD&amp;T.</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Material and process expertise - plastic design, molding and casting processes, and
