Senior Oracle Database Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Consultant, Business-Critical Financial Process for our client in the banking industry We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Database Consultant to support a business-critical financial process for one of our clients in Denmark. The consultant will step into an existing Oracle-based setup and will need to quickly build a solid understanding of the current solution. A key priority is to be fully prepared to support the quarter-end Solvency II process starting 1 October. This is a senior assignment requiring strong Oracle expertise, independence, and the ability to navigate a complex and business-critical environment with multiple stakeholders. Key responsibilities Quickly gain an understanding of the current Oracle setup and its critical dependencies. Be ready to support the quarter-end Solvency II process . Support and safeguard the monthly execution of the process. Help ensure operational stability until a sustainable succession plan or migration from the current setup is in place. Document the existing process, technical solution, analytical models, and critical dependencies. Reduce key-person dependency by creating the necessary documentation and structure for future handover and knowledge transfer. Collaborate and communicate effectively with relevant business and technical stakeholders. Must-have experience Senior/Expert-level knowledge of Oracle databases. Proven ability to understand and work with complex Oracle environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and get up to speed quickly in an existing setup. Nice to have Experience with the underlying data model in SimCorp Dimension. Previous experience within the financial industry, particularly with business-critical financial or regulatory processes. Familiarity with Solvency II processes would be an advantage.
