If you are motivated by engineering excellence and global impact, we would be happy to welcome you to our team_” \- Farshad Abbasi, Manager Climate System This role is based in Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden. **Howyou’llmake an impact** - Performthe technical design andcalculationsof climate systems for HVDC converter stations, including reviewing designs, drawings,documentation,and technical specifications. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure effective integration of climate systems within overall HVDC plant designs. - Support all project phases—from tendering and conceptual design to detailed engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning—ensuring quality andtimelyexecution. - Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements, ASHRAE standards, and internal guidelines. - Assistwith testing, verification, and performance validation during commissioning, including site inspections and on-site support. - Translate customer needs into reliable and compliant climate system solutions. - Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and mentor junior engineers to support technical development within the team **.** **Your background** - Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in mechanical engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field with a focus on heat transfer and fluid mechanics. - Provenexpertisein climatesystemsor HVACequipment such as chillers, dehumidifiers, air handling units, and integrated monitoring and control sensors. - Solid understanding of psychrometric charts, heat transfer (active/passive), flow diagrams, and control systems. - Experience working on large-scale engineering projects is an advantage. - You should ideally like working in a multicultural environment and be able to express yourself written and spoken in English.Swedish is considered an advantage. **More about us** We believe great work thrives in an environment where people feel genuinely supported and fairly rewarded.Our benefits are designed to create real value for every individual – fuelingengagement, performance, and growth.
