Senior Project Manager – Payroll System Implementation & HR Transformation (Robotics) We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, global Payroll System Implementation & HR Transformation initiative within an international organization. This is a senior, hands-on project management role with responsibility for driving end-to-end payroll implementations across multiple countries, while also leading discovery and transformation activities within Payroll, Employee Life Cycle, and Time & Attendance. A critical success factor in this assignment is exceptional stakeholder management. You will work closely with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, local business teams, external vendors, and senior leadership. The ability to communicate effectively, build strong relationships, influence decisions, and create alignment across different functions and geographies is therefore essential. The assignment is ideal for a Senior Project Manager who combines strategic thinking with a strong delivery mindset and enjoys being actively involved throughout the entire transformation journey. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end payroll implementation projects from initiation and discovery through go-live, stabilization, and operational handover. Plan and facilitate country-specific discovery workshops covering Payroll, Employee Life Cycle, and Time & Attendance. Assess current-state processes and requirements and support the definition of scalable future-state solutions. Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and governance. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, and executive status reporting. Coordinate cross-functional activities across HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, local business teams, and external vendors. Manage payroll system implementations, Workday-to-Payroll integrations, interfaces, and data migration activities. Ensure solutions and implementation activities comply with local payroll legislation, tax requirements, internal controls, and governance standards. Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and coordinate the documentation of functional and technical requirements. Lead and coordinate SIT, UAT, parallel payroll runs, defect management, cutover, and deployment activities. Monitor project budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful delivery. Drive stakeholder alignment and proactively manage expectations, escalations, and decision-making. Support change management, training, knowledge transfer, and transition into operational support. Provide clear and concise project reporting to senior leadership, steering committees, and project sponsors. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience within Payroll, HR Transformation, HRIS, or related implementation programs. Proven experience leading end-to-end payroll system implementations, preferably within managed services environments. Strong hands-on experience with Workday. Demonstrated experience delivering and managing Workday-to-Payroll integrations. Strong understanding of payroll operations, controls, compliance, and governance. Experience managing complex projects involving multiple countries, functions, vendors, and stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and leadership skills. Strong ability to translate business requirements into structured project plans and executable deliverables. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Strada payroll implementations or services. Experience supporting divestments, carve-outs, business separations, or similar transformation programs. Experience working within large, complex multinational organizations. Experience with global payroll operating models and managed payroll services. Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent is considered an advantage.
