About the Role You will take a key role in shaping how autonomous solutions are assessed, governed, and approved before deployment. You will focus on safety governance, safety case management, and risk-based decision-making in a technically advanced setting where regulatory compliance and practical deployment need to work together. Job DescriptionYou will drive safety governance for autonomous solutions and help define how safety decisions are made before deployment. You will develop, structure, and manage safety cases that support operational and regulatory readiness. You will contribute to go/no-go decisions by providing clear safety assessments and recommendations. You will work with risk assessment and risk management as a core part of the safety process. You will collaborate with stakeholders involved in engineering, safety, and compliance to ensure a consistent safety approach. RequirementsMaster’s degree in Engineering 10+ years of experience in functional safety, operational safety, or regulatory compliance Strong experience with safety case methodology and management Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) Strong risk assessment and risk management skills Fluent English Nice to haveExperience with autonomous systems Experience with automotive safety Experience from operational deployment Experience with AV risk management Swedish What We OfferPermanent employment at Avaron AB Occupational pension Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year Application Selections are made on an ongoing basis – apply as soon as you can.
