Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Where you’ll work This role will be based in our New York office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work! Responsibilities Work with engineers across the company to build new features and products. Work side-by-side with user facing teams (Sales, Support) to best understand the needs of our customers. Design and implement experiments to improve our customer’s experiences. Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability and ongoing metrics. Tune and polish features to a high-degree of excellence. Requirements 7+ years of professional experience with modern frontend technologies and tools like ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end to end Experience developing client facing software products Uphold our high engineering standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bonus points Experience collaborating with specialists in product, design, and operations Experience with developing in React Native for mobile Basic experience with design tools Great writing skills Proactive approach. Compensation The expected salary range for this role is $192,000 - $240,000 + equity. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
