Senior Software Engineer

Key responsibilities  Bring a strong product mindset, connecting engineering decisions to customer outcomes such as account adoption, customer engagement, reliability, trust, and long-term value. Take end-to-end ownership of impactful projects, from understanding customer problems and shaping solutions through implementation, rollout, measurement, and ongoing operational excellence. Build and evolve highly available backend services using Java, Spring Boot, relational databases, microservices, and well-designed APIs. Design resilient distributed systems with thoughtful approaches to asynchronous processing, data consistency, observability, scalability, security, and operational reliability. Work closely with Product, Design, Operations, Compliance, Treasury, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions that balance customer experience, regulatory requirements, and technical excellence. Write maintainable, well-tested software while continuously improving engineering practices, operational tooling, and service health. Communicate technical concepts clearly to a variety of audiences and contribute to collaborative decision-making across teams.  Raise the engineering bar by mentoring teammates, providing constructive feedback, reviewing designs and code, and reducing operational and knowledge silos across the team.
