About the role Are you an experienced tax professional looking to take on a strategic and business-oriented role in an international environment? We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Compliance Expert who will play a key role in ensuring accurate tax management, compliance, and reporting. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining deep tax expertise with the development of processes, procedures, and ways of working that contribute to the organization´s long-term success. Assignment Period: This is a full-time consulting assignment with an immediate start and will run until January 31, 2027. Key responsibilities: Calculate taxes and tax-related provisions. Ensure accurate tax filings and regulatory reporting. Manage and monitor tax-related accounting and documentation. Prepare and maintain supporting documentation, including tax journals, depreciation schedules, and other records required for tax calculations. Drive and improve tax compliance processes, standards, and working methods. Establish operational plans within the area of responsibility and ensure successful execution. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to the business and management on domestic and international tax matters. Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes that strengthen business performance and regulatory compliance. About you You are an analytical and solution-oriented professional who thrives in a specialist role where strategic thinking is combined with hands-on execution. You work in a structured manner, have a strong focus on quality, and are motivated by finding efficient solutions to complex challenges. You are also a strong communicator who feels comfortable collaborating with colleagues, management teams, and other stakeholders. You are proactive, self-driven, and passionate about developing both processes and the business. Qualifications: Relevant academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax, tax compliance, or a related specialist area. Proven experience working with both domestic and international tax matters. Strong understanding of tax accounting and tax reporting requirements. Experience in developing and implementing processes, standards, and ways of working. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
