Senior TDM Developer / z/OS Mainframe – Quality Engineering For our client, we are looking for an experienced TDM Developer with a strong background in IBM z/OS and mainframe environments. You will be part of a Test Data Management team, supporting both day-to-day delivery and the development of new Test Data Services. The role combines operational support, test data provisioning, technical problem solving and development of new capabilities to improve how test data is managed and consumed across the organization. You will work closely with application teams, Quality Engineering, Mainframe Services, architects and other stakeholders to ensure that test data is available, compliant and fit for purpose. Responsibilities Provision and maintain GDPR-compliant test data for test environments Support test environment refreshes, restores and maintenance activities Work with production-derived, masked, subsetted and synthetic test data Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis Collaborate with supporting functions such as DB2, IMS, Batch, MQ and Mainframe Services Improve and automate existing TDM processes Contribute to the design and implementation of new Test Data Services Develop capabilities within: Test Data on Demand Test Data Selection & Lookup Test Data Generation Reduce manual activities through standardization, automation and self-service Document solutions and share knowledge within the team Required experience Experience working in IBM z/OS environments Experience with DB2 and/or IMS Understanding of JCL and batch processing Experience supporting test environments or other non-production environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience working across multiple technical teams and stakeholders Preferred experience IBM InfoSphere Optim COBOL Test Data Management (TDM) Data masking and subsetting Synthetic test data generation API development and/or automation Banking or financial services experience Profile We are looking for a proactive and curious team player who enjoys combining operational problem solving with development of new capabilities. You should be comfortable working in a complex mainframe environment , while also having an interest in modernization, automation and improving Test Data Management processes.
