Senior Test Manager / QA Lead

🔹 For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Senior Test Manager / QA Lead 🔹 Location in Poland: Warsaw, Gdansk, Gdynia Working model: Hybrid (3 days per week from the office) Home journey is the full process a customer goes through when buying a home in the Nordics. We are looking for a Senior Test Manager/QA lead able to lead the QA efforts in an Agile Release Train in large scope project. The team members are located in Nordic Countries, Poland and India. ✔️ Responsibilities: Leading Leading the QA effort within the ART (initiative) Ensuring that all required types and levels of testing are planned, implemented, executed and reported in accordance to Client´s internal processes Plan and run QA and test management for both functional and non-functional testing, in concurrence with multiple and versatile scrum teams in a SAFe agile release train setup Leading QA efforts especially across integration and E2E tests in large scale initiative(~4-6 Scrum teams) Responsible for driving continuous improvement and introduction of best practices, ensuring the availability of test environment and test data, understanding and addressing testing skill gaps as well as coaching and helping team members to ensure agility and excellent deliveries Clear communication in ART level and below Being a sparing part to ART leadership and work together to mature the testing effort in the area Contribute to release readiness assessment and provide quality metrics for sign-offs Being driver of test activities/improvements and ensure end to end deliveries are timely from a QA perspective Input on test approach, strategy and tools Secure test enablers such as test environments, and test data management Secure that the test evidence to changes is provided before going live Secure the test scheduling in alignment with release- and deployment plans Identify impediments, risks and challenges corresponding to QA and test management, and derive solutions to enable efficient QA and test progress Proactively follow up, communicate and report the test status to key IT- and business stakeholders in regards to QA risk status, testing progress, and improvement activities Actively increase test automation KPI:s and coverage (design, development, maintenance and operations) Align testing priorities with ART and Product Management, Business, Architects, Release Management, and Scrum Teams Escalate quality risks, dependencies, and impediments when required ✔️ Must-have knowledge and experience: Financial domain knowledge is a must preferably in Mortgage area Professional experience for more than 5 years in a Quality Assurance leadership role for various size of teams, where you continuously worked with coaching, personal and team development, as well as an innovative approach to challenges Professional experience from working with test management tools, as well as experience in managing functional- and non-functional testing, E2E-testing, test automation, test environment and test data management Vast professional experience from planning and follow-ups for system tests, system integration tests, and user acceptance tests, and how to report these via dashboards and presentations Several documented projects where you have been the key leader during the entire project, preferably in a test automation environment Professional experience working with web, API related solutions/testing, DevOps and automated CI/CD pipelines is an advantage Knowledge and skills in working with Spark, Scala and SAFe (we consider this very meritorious) Understanding of legacy systems Excellent communication skills Technology used in the project: Java, Kafka, C#, Weblogic, SQL, mainframe (Cobol, ASP) Technology used in QA within the project: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, qTest, PowerBI, Jira Experience with managing tests on mainframe environment will be a big advantage ✔️ Nice-to-have knowledge and experience: AI and Test Automation and Non-Functional testing Proactivity and drive ✔️ We offer: B2B agreement Transparent working conditions with both Ework and the client Current support during our cooperation Possibility to work in an international environment Collaborative environment in Swedish organizational culture Private medical care Life insurance Multisport Teambuilding events Contact person: katarzyna.borczyk@eworkgroup.com Client code: BN01 Do you know someone who would fit this position?
