Senior S-Order Engineer We are looking for an experienced and driven engineer to join the S-Order team and take ownership of customer-specific product adaptations from request to implementation. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior design engineer with a strong technical background and proven experience in product development. About the RoleAs an S-Order Engineer, you will be responsible for managing S-Order requests throughout the entire process, from initial customer request to completed and implemented solution. You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into technically feasible solutions while ensuring alignment with business, quality, and production requirements. By combining components and features from different product specifications, and/or integrating solutions that are not yet part of the standard offering, tailored solutions can be developed to meet unique customer needs. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including: Sales and Market functions Purchasing Product Development Manufacturing Quality Other engineering and specialist functions Key Responsibilities: Own and drive S-Order requests from start to finish. Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions. Evaluate technical, manufacturing, and commercial feasibility. Coordinate activities and decisions across various departments. Ensure documentation and design changes are managed according to established processes. Support continuous improvement of methods, tools, and ways of working. Act as the technical focal point throughout the S-Order lifecycle. Required Qualifications: We are looking for a highly experienced and self-sufficient engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across organizational boundaries. We believe you have: Several years of experience in design engineering and product development. Strong technical understanding and systems perspective. Proven ability to independently drive technical projects and resolve complex engineering challenges. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
