SE_Project Manager - Senior Professional

Description Role: Project Manager Interview Format: 1st with HM, (second with current HM and current PM) Scope: 100% Duration: 2 years Location: Oskarshamn, 4 days onsite/week The consultant is expected to work closely with production, automation and IT stakeholders throughout the assignment. Assignment Overview The Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all IT deliveries related to the transformation within the Paintshop and Press Shop in Oskarshamn. The role ensures that business needs are translated into effective IT solutions and that deliveries are completed according to scope, time, budget and quality requirements. The role serves as the primary IT counterpart to the production organization and coordinates deliveries across local and central Scania IT teams. This is a senior technical project management role, critical for ensuring successful delivery of IT solutions supporting the transformation of production processes and manufacturing operations within Paintshop and Press Shop environments. The assignment covers multiple IT/OT-related initiatives and requires close collaboration with production stakeholders, local site teams and central IT delivery organizations. Responsibilities Project Leadership Lead and coordinate IT activities within the assigned portfolio. Own the overall delivery plan, milestones, dependencies and risks. Drive progress through established governance and planning forums. Escalate issues and risks to relevant decision-making forums when needed. Coordinate deliveries across multiple IT and OT stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and business value realization. Business Collaboration Act as the primary IT contact for production stakeholders. Build trust and strong collaboration between business and IT. Lead requirements gathering and clarification activities. Secure alignment between business expectations and IT deliveries. Support business representatives during implementation, testing and go-live activities. Facilitate communication between production, automation, operations and IT delivery teams. Experience Must Have Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager within IT/OT environments. Experience leading complex IT delivery initiatives in manufacturing or industrial production environments. Strong understanding of MES, SCADA, industrial automation, shop-floor systems and production-related integrations. Experience managing stakeholders across both business and technical organizations. Strong communication, coordination and leadership capabilities. Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English. Nice to Have Experience from automotive manufacturing environments. Experience from large-scale production transformation or digitalization initiatives. Previous experience within Scania, TRATON or similar industrial organizations.
