Software Development Engineer

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. We're looking for engineers with strong backend programming fundamentals, whether your experience is in **C#/.NET** or other modern backend technologies such as **Java or TypeScript (Node.js)**. You'll have real ownership over your work and collaborate with a high-performing cross-functional team to deliver enterprise applications used by government agencies and commercial clients. **Responsibilities** - Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET. - Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services. - Design and implement RESTful APIs and business logic. - Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code. - Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and application issues. - Collaborate closely with Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards. - Create and maintain technical documentation. - Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability. **Responsibilities** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum **2 years of professional software development experience.** - Experience developing backend applications or APIs. - **Experience with C# is preferred.** Candidates with strong professional experience in **Java or TypeScript (Node.js)** are also encouraged to apply, provided they are willing to learn and build applications using **.NET**. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Experience with **.NET Framework or .NET/.NET Core** is highly preferred. - Good understanding of REST APIs and relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Experience using Git for version control. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. - Comfortable working in an Agile development environment. - Good command of written and spoken English. - The role is based in **Bandung, Indonesia**, and requires working on-site. Candidates must be based in Bandung or willing to relocate. **Nice to Have:** - Experience with [ASP.NET](http://asp.net/) MVC, [ASP.NET](http://asp.net/) Core, or Web API. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Experience with Docker or Kubernetes. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with microservices architecture. - Understanding of software design patterns and Clean Architecture. - Experience with automated testing. - If you have built something meaningful in the past, we'd love to hear about it.
