Software Engineer

Essential requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role. • Strong experience with Python development. • Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks. • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and integrations. • Extensive experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices. • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. • Strong understanding of DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering principles. • Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud architectures. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Meritorious: • Kubernetes (highly valued) • Experience operating applications and platforms on Kubernetes • Metadata and data governance platforms such as OpenMetadata • GCP Networking: • Load Balancers • DNS • TLS/SSL Certificates • Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) • Cloud security and networking fundamentals • Observability and monitoring tooling Please explain how you meet all the requirements when applying.
