Build things that matter. As a Software Engineer (Endpoint), you'll be working closely with the Aikido team. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain endpoint agent components in Rust, Go, and C++ across Windows, macOS, and Linux, with a focus on performance, stability, and low resource footprint. Develop and maintain kernel-level and privileged code: Windows minifilter/WFP drivers and ETW consumers, macOS System/Endpoint Security Extensions, and Linux eBPF/LSM-based sensors. Implement telemetry collection, process/file/network event tracing, and real-time detection and prevention logic in coordination with threat research and detection engineering teams. Debug complex issues in production and at the OS boundary — crashes, BSODs/panics, race conditions, and compatibility regressions across OS versions — using WinDbg, LLDB, and crash dump analysis. Own code quality and release readiness: code reviews, unit and integration tests, driver signing and packaging, and secure coding practices for code running with the highest system privileges.
