Software Engineer Intern

What you'll do: Write high-quality, well-tested code that ships to production and directly impacts Coinbase customers. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn technical and product vision into delivered features. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving feedback that raises the quality bar for your team. Own a defined project end-to-end, from scoping through implementation and launch, within your 12-week internship. Learn and apply crypto and blockchain domain concepts to real engineering problems in a production environment. Required Skills and Experience: Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human‑in‑the‑loop practices to deliver business‑ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality. Programming experience in any language (academic, personal projects, or professional). Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete implementation steps. Familiarity with at least one of: web development, mobile development, backend systems, or infrastructure. Utilize generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
