Software QA Tester (with Basic Programming experience)

We’re looking for an experienced Software QA Tested with a background in basic programming who is committed to excellence and enjoys collaborating with teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable software. In this role, you’ll design and develop features while applying strong testing practices and applying your dev experience to ensure performance, stability, and scalability across web and mobile platforms. Employment Type: Project-Based (6 months initial contract) Contract Duration: Subject to contract extension based on project needs and performance Work Setup: Onsite - Makati City What You’ll Do \-Perform unit testing within the BFF layer to validate components and service logic. \-Conduct API testing (functional and error scenarios), RESTful APIs, request/response validation, and JSON/XML parsing. \-Adept in Command-line and SQL/backend testing. \-Conduct version control using CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure. \-Design comprehensive test strategies for Backend for Frontend, and integrated services. \-Create and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications. \-Manage defect lifecycle, including bug tracking, prioritization, and ticket operation design in systems like Jira. \-Provide continuous feedback to development teams to enhance test coverage and product stability.
