Solution Architect Integrations

Assignment Description We are seeking a Solution Architect specialising in integrations for an assignment requiring on-site presence three to four days per week . You will take responsibility for integration design across an interconnected landscape comprising a business application, D365 Commerce/POS, D365 F&O, middleware and WMS. Your work will cover integration patterns, API specifications and error-handling strategies that translate complex business needs into scalable solutions. You will also develop and approve functional design documents (FDDs) and integration design documents (IDDs). An end-to-end systems perspective and attention to architectural detail are required. In collaboration with development teams, you will guide consistent technical choices that support the long-term strategy for the whole landscape rather than individual systems. Working across product boundaries, you will identify, analyse and manage technical dependencies, data flows and change impacts to help end-to-end processes run as seamlessly as possible. This requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, together with a proven ability to bridge business requirements and technical execution, guide engineering teams and energise a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities also include defining data migration and integration strategies, data mapping models and business intelligence (BI), while ensuring data integrity across the product landscape. Together with test leads, you will define integration quality assurance and testing criteria, oversee system reliability and evaluate the root causes of performance bottlenecks to support overall stability. Strong problem-solving abilities are required in this work. You will prepare and maintain system architecture overviews, integration blueprints and technical specifications to support a shared understanding across functions. Strategic and analytical thinking will inform your collaboration with product teams, enterprise architects and technical leads, aligning integration roadmaps with business strategy while balancing immediate delivery goals and long-term maintainability. Required Qualifications: Experience collaborating with test leads within established testing and quality processes. Solid experience in defining how data flows, how it is mapped and the strategies used for data integration. A bachelor’s-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Experience navigating complex enterprise environments containing multiple solutions. A good architectural understanding of the Azure Power Platform ecosystem and modern design and architectural patterns, enabling you to assess implementation choices and provide technical direction. A good understanding of deployment strategies used in complex enterprise environments spanning multiple systems. Five or more years of experience in solution architecture or technical integration roles. It is considered meritorious if you have experience with D365 F&O or a background in retail, supply chain and/or product circularity.
