Solution Architect JDE

Assignment Description Husqvarna Group is seeking a senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne consultant to act as solution architect and trusted advisor for global manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, and distribution solutions. The consultant will work with Husqvarna business representatives to create scalable global JDE standards and translate agreed business designs into technical specifications for our development resources. The assignment covers the full solution lifecycle, from design and specification through development support, testing, business verification, handover, and training. Tasks · Lead solution design discussions with Husqvarna and define global JDE standard solutions. · Convert the business requirement specification, prepared by the business representative, into a detailed technical specification for our development resources. · Document solution design, process flows, data requirements, integrations, business rules, error handling, and acceptance criteria. · Support developers during implementation and conduct regular design and development alignment meetings. · Review and functionally test delivered developments against the approved specification. Coordinate clarification and correction of defects or design deviations with the development team. · Hand over the completed solution to the business for final verification against the requirement specification. · Train business representatives and key users in how the delivered programs and functionality should be used. · Design and improve shipping processes and integrations so complete information is transferred to the REX distribution system. · Design orchestration-based scanner solutions to replace RF-Smart. · Design factory work order solutions that connect manufacturing execution with shipping. · Support and develop solutions using Power Forms, Composite Pages, Form Extensions, and CafeOne. Required skills · Broad and senior-level knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with the ability to work across several functional and technical areas rather than within only one specialist domain. · Experience designing JDE solutions for manufacturing companies and production facilities. · Strong understanding of manufacturing, work orders, warehouse operations, shipping, logistics, and related system integrations. · Ability to translate business requirements and agreed solution designs into clear technical specifications for developers. · Practical experience with JDE Orchestrator and scanner or mobile warehouse solutions. · Knowledge of Power Forms, Composite Pages, Form Extensions, and CafeOne. · Experience supporting developers, reviewing delivered solutions, and performing functional testing. · Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to bridge business, IT, and external development teams. · Ability to work independently in an international, multi-site environment. · Access to backup expertise within the consultant company when specialist knowledge is required. · Previous knowledge of Husqvarna processes and the Husqvarna system landscape is highly desirable.
