Senior Embedded Systems Engineer – NVIDIA DriveOS & Sensor Integration We are looking for a highly experienced embedded systems engineer to work with sensor integration and processing pipelines in an advanced computing platform. The assignment focuses on NVIDIA DriveOS, with particular emphasis on configuring sensors and integrating data streams into reliable processing pipelines. You will work close to the hardware and software stack, helping develop and troubleshoot solutions for complex sensor systems. We are especially interested in engineers with hands-on experience integrating GMSL cameras with NVIDIA DriveOS. Experience with LiDAR, radar and other advanced sensing technologies is also highly relevant. The role You will contribute to the configuration, integration and development of sensor processing capabilities within an embedded platform. Your responsibilities may include: • Working hands-on with NVIDIA DriveOS in an embedded development environment. • Configuring and integrating sensors into platform-level processing pipelines. • Developing and troubleshooting camera data acquisition and processing workflows. • Working with GMSL cameras and their integration with the underlying hardware and software stack. • Investigating issues involving sensor configuration, data flow, performance and system reliability. • Integrating and working with additional sensor technologies, such as LiDAR and radar. • Collaborating closely with engineers across embedded software, hardware and system integration. We are looking for someone who has • Extensive practical experience with NVIDIA DriveOS. • Strong knowledge of sensor configuration and sensor processing pipelines within DriveOS. • Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting camera systems in embedded environments. • Experience with GMSL cameras, preferably in combination with NVIDIA DriveOS. • A solid understanding of embedded systems and the interaction between software and physical hardware. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across complex hardware/software interfaces. Experience with LiDAR, radar or other sensor technologies is a significant advantage. Experience with C++ and low-level Linux development is also beneficial. The ideal candidate You are a senior specialist who can contribute with deep technical knowledge from the outset. You understand the practical challenges involved in bringing sensor hardware and embedded software together, and you can independently investigate issues across configuration, integration and processing. You have worked directly with NVIDIA DriveOS rather than only with general embedded Linux or NVIDIA hardware. Experience with GMSL camera integration is particularly valuable, although candidates with other relevant DriveOS sensor integration experience may also be considered. Given the specialist nature of this assignment, candidates with an exceptionally strong and directly relevant background may be considered for a higher consulting budget.
