Sr Software Engineer (Backend)

Requirements : Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience with software development technologies, patterns, and practices. Broad understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Post-graduate coursework preferred. Experience with container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle, and non-relational databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB Experience with infrastructure as code such as AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) or Terraform Experience and confidence with working within a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline using tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, Artifactory, TeamCity, and Jenkins Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Spring, React a plus. Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, TypeScript, Python) preferred Background in secure application development and/or partnering with security teams during application development process preferred. Full-stack development experience a plus but not required. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time. This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Pay Range: $145,150 — $261,200 USD
