Staff Software Engineer

Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on architecture and system design Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Expertise in software development using modern languages (i.e. Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, Python) Deep understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design Experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS) and containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) Proficient in database design and technologies (i.e. SQL, NoSQL, Redis) Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks Proven experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers What will help you succeed: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities Collaborative attitude and a passion for innovation and continuous learning ✨ Let’s talk numbers! ✨ Our compensation range for this role begins at $7000 USD per month 💵 Founded in 2013, Housecall Pro helps home service professionals (Pros) streamline every aspect of their business.
