Strategic Business Innovation Lead

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Innovation Lead to accelerate strategic innovation initiatives at the intersection of business strategy, product development, data, architecture, and emerging technology, with particular emphasis on agentic AI. The role will increase the organization’s capacity to move from strategic intent to decision-ready and implementable initiatives. Working across products and business areas, the consultant will: - Facilitate discovery with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams. - Translate strategic opportunities into hypotheses, business cases, initiative definitions, and implementation options. - Identify shared platform, machine and customer data, integration, security, governance, and organizational dependencies. - Establish reusable approaches and prevent isolated experiments from becoming disconnected solutions. - Coordinate approved experiments and pilots, including scope, success criteria, stakeholder alignment, and value measurement. - Project-manage approved cross-functional implementations, maintaining the overall plan and coordinating teams, dependencies, risks, budgets, decision points, pilots, rollout, and benefits realization. - Prepare decision-ready material for the Product Owner and Program Management Team. - Ensure that implemented and validated initiatives transition into normal product operations under the appropriate Product Owner and delivery team. The role reports to Head of Tech Ecommerce portal and supports the Product Owner without assuming product ownership. The Product Owner remains accountable for product vision, roadmap, backlog prioritization, delivery sequencing, and product scope decisions. Requirements: Masters degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 8+ years of relevant experience in strategic innovation, product strategy, business development, management consulting, or similar roles. Demonstrated ability to take complex opportunities from early discovery through business case, experiment, implementation, and operations. Strong project and program management experience involving several delivery teams and business stakeholders. Experience developing hypotheses, business cases, implementation options, success criteria, and value-measurement frameworks. Strong understanding of digital product development, product ownership, customer research, security, compliance and laws applied to deliveries and governance. Ability to explain complex business and technical dependencies clearly to senior decision-makers. Proven experience facilitating workshops and coordinating cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
