About the Role You will take a key role in shaping strategic sourcing for advanced harnesses and connectors used in airborne and naval applications. In this high-tech and regulated environment, you will work closely with R&D, product management, business development and suppliers to secure long-term commercial and technical solutions. You will own supplier relationships from a strategic perspective, align cost and technology roadmaps, and help build resilient supply chains for complex products. The role combines commercial responsibility, technical dialogue and cross-functional influence, which makes it a strong opportunity if you want to work close to both business decisions and product development. Job DescriptionYou will drive strategic sourcing activities for development projects, programs and lifecycle needs. You will take account responsibility for key suppliers and secure commercially sound agreements and business solutions. You will work closely with business development, product management and design stakeholders to align supplier capabilities with cost and technology roadmaps. You will use supply market intelligence to evaluate suppliers, technologies and sourcing options. You will support the setup of competitive supplier structures for new projects and launches. You will follow supplier performance throughout the lifecycle and support the organization in escalated issues. You will contribute in technical discussions around harnesses and connectors together with R&D and suppliers. You may also support initiatives such as localization, supply chain setup in strategic countries, and make-or-buy analyses. RequirementsExperience in strategic sourcing Ability to develop contracts that support commercial objectives Relevant legal and commercial understanding Experience in building and driving effective supplier relations Ability to make decisions even when all facts are not yet available Good knowledge of management systems, Code of Conduct, IFS and related ways of working Technical knowledge and a genuine technical interest Excellent written and spoken English and Swedish Ability to pass security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship not permitted) Nice to haveDegree in engineering or equivalent education Experience from an industrial or technology-driven company Background in strategic procurement in a technical environment Procurement or technical experience in harnesses and connectors What We OfferPermanent employment at Avaron AB Occupational pension Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year Application Selections are made on an ongoing basis – apply as soon as you can.
