This role will support brownfield infrastructure projects, existing structure modifications, structural inspections, and industrial facility upgrades throughout the western U.S. The ideal candidate will have strong technical structural engineering experience along with the ability to help manage project scope, schedules, deliverables, client communication, and engineering coordination Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural engineering design and analysis for industrial projects ranging from small modifications to large capital projectsSupport brownfield and existing facility structural modificationsConduct structural inspections and develop repair recommendationsPerform steel and concrete structural design and analysisUtilize structural modeling software including RISA, RFEM, RAM, or similar toolsDevelop and review engineering calculations and technical documentationManage and track project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and engineering documentationCoordinate project activities with multidisciplinary engineering teamsServe as a point of contact for clients and participate in project meetingsSupport proposal development, project planning, and fee estimating effortsCoordinate engineering staff and project resources as neededIdentify project risks, scope changes, and schedule concernsConduct site visits and field inspections as requiredProvide technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff Requirements5-–20 years of structural engineering experienceExtensive structural design and analysis experienceProject management or project coordination experienceExperience managing project schedules, deliverables, and client communicationExtensive structural inspection and repair analysis experienceStrong steel and concrete design experienceExperience with RISA, RFEM, RAM, or similar structural analysis platformsUtah PE License or ability to obtain Utah reciprocity quicklyNCEES record preferredExperience supporting brownfield or existing structure modificationsStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skillsAbility and willingness to travel to project sites Preferred Qualifications Brownfield ExprienceHeavy industrial engineering experienceOil & Gas experienceMining experienceEnergy or petrochemical project experienceProject management experienceClient-facing experienceAdditional PE licenses highly preferred (CA, MT, NV, WY, ID, AR, NM, TX)
