Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (Skövde)

About This Role As a Supplier Quality Management within Aurobay Technologies, your role will be critical in ensuring the compliance, quality, and performance of our supplier network. You will serve as a key stakeholder in maintaining and improving supplier quality standards and fostering relationships conducive to long-term success. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: • Monitoring and analyzing supplier quality performance and implementing preventive actions to address potential risks and optimize outcomes. • Leading and promoting Root Cause Analysis efforts, utilizing methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa to resolve recurring issues. • Driving corrective actions and collaborating closely with suppliers to ensure sustained quality improvements. • Maintaining clear and effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on quality objectives and processes. Skill requirements We are seeking individuals with strong expertise in supplier quality management, who thrive in an innovative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience 2-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance or a related field, preferably within the automotive sector A robust understanding of quality frameworks and methodologies, such as IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, and relevant ISO standards. Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis and quality assurance methodologies, including 8D problem-solving, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and 5 Whys.
