Supplier Strategy Lead - Fragrance
WHAT YOU’LL DO  As Supplier Strategy Lead, you will help H&M Beauty Fragrance build the supplier partnerships and production capabilities needed to grow its fragrance business. You will shape and implement a strategy covering fragrance oils, suppliers that fill the finished products, packaging and components. Your focus will be on making product development and production faster and more efficient, while ensuring suppliers can support growing volumes. This is a full-time temporary project employment of 12 months based in Stockholm.  In this role, you will:  Develop and coordinate a supplier plan for the fragrance business, covering fragrance oils, product filling, packaging and components.  Assess supplier capabilities, capacity, cost structures, innovation potential and geographic footprint.  Build long-term supplier partnerships and develop a supplier capability roadmap to support the growth of the fragrance business.  Identify gaps in supplier capabilities, production bottlenecks and supply risks that could limit growth, increase costs or disrupt deliveries.  Coordinate strategic production and capacity planning for key fragrance launches and programmes.  Develop ways of working that bring supplier expertise into product development at an earlier stage.  Simplify development and production processes to improve efficiency and speed-to-market.  Compare existing approaches and introduce scalable solutions across formulation, packaging, packaging design and labelling, samples, testing and production.  Organize sessions with suppliers to explore new ideas, review their capabilities and follow up on business priorities, together with the team responsible for day-to-day supplier coordination and other relevant colleagues.  Turn strategy into practical solutions and follow through on implementation.  WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH  You will join H&M Beauty at an exciting stage as we continue to build and scale our fragrance business. You will work cross-functionally with product manager, junior buyers, planner, designer, controller, logistics and external suppliers.  You will work closely with merchandising colleagues in the production organisation and the fragrance product development team to align fragrance supplier capabilities and production capacity with assortment priorities. Together, you will translate plans for future fragrance products into clear supplier requirements and production plans. While the production office team manages daily activities, your focus will be on longer-term supplier development and improvements to how teams and suppliers work together.  WHO YOU ARE  We are looking for people with…  Relevant experience in supplier management, supplier development, strategic sourcing, production planning, supply chain or product development.  Experience in assessing, developing and managing supplier partnerships.  Understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably within fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, consumer goods or another fast-moving product environment.  Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing process improvements.  The ability to turn analysis and strategic plans into practical changes, then follow through on implementation.  Strong analytical skills and the ability to bring together colleagues and suppliers with different priorities.  A commercial mindset and the ability to balance product, supplier, operational and business needs.  Fluency in English.  And people who are…  Collaborative, relationship-driven and comfortable working across functions and organisations.  Curious, solution-focused and motivated by solving complex problems.  Comfortable challenging existing ways of working and driving change.  Resilient and adaptable in an environment where the way forward is not always clearly defined.  Structured and able to create clarity in a developing area.  Proactive, persistent and able to follow through.  Motivated by helping the fragrance business launch products faster and support growing volumes by simplifying how products are developed and produced.  WHO WE ARE  H&M Group is a global company of strong fashion brands and ventures.
