System Engineer

Assignment description We are looking for a System Engineer to work with advanced camera systems and image performance in a multidisciplinary technical environment. In this role, you will work across mechanics, optics, software and electronics to ensure optimal image quality and reliable system performance. You will analyze and optimize the full image chain, from detector to final output, and contribute to both development and production support. Your responsibilities include developing and testing algorithms and tools for image performance evaluation, collaborating closely with manufacturing teams, and working with hardware and software teams to integrate solutions into embedded systems. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving complex system-level issues, with a pragmatic approach to moving work forward and meeting delivery deadlines. Qualifications You have strong technical competence and problem-solving skills. You have hands-on experience with MATLAB and Python. You have knowledge of C/C++ and embedded systems, which is considered a plus. You have an understanding of detectors, physics and image processing fundamentals. You have experience with both hardware and software development and a system-level mindset. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
