System Reliability Engineer

We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>You will join a Data Management team in a complex banking environment where a new platform is being introduced to strengthen the existing offering. The focus of the role is to support the onboarding of Validio from a technology perspective and help shape a stable, secure, and well-structured operational setup.</p><p>The platform will run on-premises in Kubernetes-based containerized environments, and you will play an important part in getting the setup in place, defining how it should be operated, and supporting work related to IT security controls. This is a role for you if you enjoy combining platform engineering, reliability, and security in an environment where your work has clear impact and where you get to influence how a new platform is established from the ground up.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>You will support the onboarding and establishment of the Validio platform in an on-premises container environment.</li><li>You will work closely with the Data Management team to strengthen and support the existing platform offering.</li><li>You will help define operational guidelines, ways of working, and practical routines for running the platform reliably over time.</li><li>You will contribute to platform engineering work in Kubernetes-based environments, including deployment-related setup and configuration.</li><li>You will support work connected to IT security controls and help ensure the platform aligns with relevant security requirements.</li><li>You will collaborate across infrastructure, operations, and security to create a stable and maintainable solution.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in a role such as System Support Engineer, System Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.</li><li>Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including ArgoCD and Helm Charts.</li><li>Experience with OpenShift.</li><li>Experience with Entra ID.</li><li>Ability to work professionally in English.</li></ul><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul><li>Experience with Linux Server administration and Windows Server administration.</li><li>Experience from cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.</li><li>Experience with Docker.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Terraform, GitLab, or GitHub.</li><li>Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.</li><li>Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.</li><li>Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including configuration management, encryption, and authentication.</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Permanent employment at Avaron AB</li><li>Occupational pension</li><li>Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year</li></ul><h3>Application</h3><p>Selections are made on an ongoing basis – apply as soon as you can.</p>
