Systems Engineer
Key Responsibilities: Lead systems engineering activities throughout the entire product development lifecycle Define, manage, and maintain system requirements from concept through to product delivery Develop verification and validation (V&V) strategies, plans, and test methodologies Support system architecture development and requirements decomposition Collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, and programme teams to ensure successful product integration Manage technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and system-level trade-off decisions Support design reviews, validation activities, and engineering sign-off processes Drive problem resolution activities and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future developments Ensure products meet customer, business, safety, and regulatory requirements
Required Skills: Strong systems engineering experience within a product development environment Experience working across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept to delivery Proven experience in verification and validation (V&V) engineering Ability to manage and trace requirements throughout development programmes Experience operating within complex multidisciplinary engineering teams Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience conducting technical reviews and supporting engineering governance activities Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering , or  equivalent   military experience . Minimum of 5 years' experience in systems engineering, product development, or V&V engineering Experience within heavy machinery, off-highway vehicles, transportation, aerospace, defence, or similarly complex engineering industries Desirable Skills: Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or similar Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Understanding of system integration and product certification activities Experience working on safety-critical or highly regulated engineering products Familiarity with engine, powertrain, hydraulics, or vehicle system development
