Tax Manager
On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a Tax Manager. You can make tax risk understandable enough for the business to act before a transaction becomes a problem.
The partner needs a tax manager to coordinate corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing across a growing group. You will combine compliance oversight with practical advice on business change, cross border activity and finance processes.
The finance environment values accuracy, traceability and practical improvement. Work should withstand review, make ownership clear and reduce the recurring manual effort or uncertainty that weakens later reporting and decisions.
How you will work
You will collaborate across entity finance, shared services and business teams while owning defined parts of the financial cycle. The partner expects issues to be investigated to root cause, conclusions to be documented and improvements to remain workable at the next close.
As a manager, you will balance delivery, professional standards and development of the people around you. The partner expects clear priorities, timely decisions and leadership that remains present when work becomes sensitive or operationally difficult. You will be accountable for both outcomes and the environment used to achieve them.
What you will do
Own the tax calendar and coordinate compliant filings.
Advise on corporate tax, VAT and transaction questions.
Maintain transfer pricing documentation and policy application.
Review tax provisions and reporting disclosures.
Manage advisers, audits and authority correspondence.
Improve tax controls, data flows and business guidance.
What you will bring
Substantial corporate tax experience from industry or advisory.
Strong knowledge of corporate and indirect tax principles.
Ability to assess business transactions and communicate risk.
Experience coordinating compliance across entities.
Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
Professional English; Swedish tax knowledge is valuable.
Experience that would add value
International tax and cross border restructuring.
Tax accounting under IFRS.
ERP and tax technology implementation.
A background that can succeed here
Your background may be a tax advisory firm, group tax function, audit or a senior accounting role with deep tax responsibility. The partner needs someone who can be technically precise while giving business colleagues a clear, usable recommendation.
What makes the opportunity interesting
The role offers broad ownership and early involvement in commercial and structural decisions. You will strengthen compliance while helping the organisation move with greater confidence.
The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.
The recruitment conversation
During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
How to apply
Apply with your CV or LinkedIn profile and a short note describing the most relevant organisation, service, project or financial process you have helped improve. Nordic Investin welcomes candidates with different routes into the profession and assesses applicants on relevant capability, judgement and potential.
