Ready to take your tech and business skills to the next level? Join us for Netlight Tech Avenue in Oslo! A program designed for women and people of marginalised genders who want to strengthen their hands-on tech and business skills with guidance from experienced Netlighters. Across three sessions, you’ll gain insight into what a career in consulting can look like, work on an tech project, strengthen your CV, and learn how networking can support both your personal and professional growth. You’ll also be paired with a dedicated Netlight career coach for 1:1 meetings, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and receive personal guidance throughout the program. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can look forward to: Technical Edge: Take part in hands-on workshops led by experienced Netlight consultants in software development and data. You’ll explore how different technical components connect and gain a broader understanding of the architecture behind digital solutions. Consulting Skills: At Netlight, creativity and business sense are valued just as highly as technical competence. Together with our consultants, you’ll develop your presentation skills, learn to approach challenges from a business perspective, and gain insight into what it means to work as a consultant. Network: Connect with fellow students interested in technology and build long-lasting relationships. Get to know the Netlight Oslo community and tap into the collective knowledge of more than 2,000 Netlighters across our international network. Career Coaching: With support from your dedicated Netlight career coach, you’ll explore what matters for a strong start to your career. From strengthening your CV to preparing for future opportunities, you’ll define your personal goals and explore your next possible career steps. Who are we looking for? You are a student in computer science, informatics, AI or a closely related field Graduating with a masters degree in 2028 or 2029 Women or people of marginalised gender You have a genuine interest in technology or business You are interested in a culture where networking and collaboration with others are used for knowledge sharing and problem-solving   We will review applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible! Please note that spots are limited. What is planned? Tech Avenue takes place during three afternoons**, and will start with a kick-off event in the beginning of February. On these three events, you will be: Beginning of February - First session* Kick-off mingle & AW to start off Tech Avenue Career coaching fika with your Netlight coach Choose your relevant tech project to work on Dinner & refreshments while listening to lightning talks about inspiring career journeys Mid-February - Second session* Craft your brand new CV & get interview prepped with insights from our Talent Managers Get a fresh CV picture by our photographer Work on your case project with fellow students and experienced Netlighters Enjoy a delightful dinner together Beginning of March - Third session* Present your case and receive feedback, along with tips on how to showcase it as relevant experience. Reflection on your Tech Avenue learnings & journey Celebration dinner – time to celebrate the accomplishment of Tech Avenue! Get enlightened by a panel talk by consultants sharing their stories & tips for a career start Finish off the night with tunes by Netlight DJs *Please note that plans and activities may change along the way. ** The sessions will take place at our Netlight Office in Oslo. If you are a student outside of Oslo, we will provide travel arrangements.
